Diễn đàn College Board 2020 dành cho học sinh Việt Nam

Diễn đàn College Board 2020 là sự kiện giúp các HS có được thông tin quan trọng để các em lên kế hoạch du học dù là ở nước nào mà ít phải nghe qua các trung tâm tư vấn.

 Về khách mời: College Board sắp xếp các trường sau tham dự, đa số là các trường trong top 20, tiêu biểu:

– ĐH Oxford, Vương Quốc Anh

– ĐH Yale, Hoa Kỳ

– ĐH Williams, Hoa Kỳ

– ĐH Exeter, Vương Quốc Anh

Về chương trình, các trường ĐH trên sẽ thiết kế hoạt động mang tính định hướng và giúp được đại đa số học sinh lên được kế hoạch và chuẩn bị.

I am Chris and I represent The College Board in South East Asia. I am writing to share with you exciting news. The College Board is organizing An International University Talk coming this December 11^th for Vietnamese educators, parents and students.

This will be a great opportunity for your students to learn about what it takes for students to study abroad and start making a plan to apply for universities abroad. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to hear directly from admission leaders representing world renowned universities (Please see university list below).

• Who can attend?

The event is open and free for all interested school administrators, teachers, counselors, parents, and students! The event is scheduled after school time in Viet Nam and is time zone friendly for our students.  

• Is this just another college fair?

Not quite. While participating universities are expected to give a brief introduction about themselves and the region they represent, the talk will focus on outlining the actionable items students need to prepare themselves to study at an international higher education institution as well as demystifying misinformation in the process (Please see Program below). That is to say, students will still have an opportunity to direct their question to the participating universities to learn more about their program offering, admissions and other related information.

• Why a Talk?

This year, educators, students and parents may have already participated far too many college fairs online. We are hoping a friendly Talk in a Question-Answer format would make this event more relaxed but still stay educational, informational and inclusive, even for participants without prior understanding of the topics.  

• Can I share this event to other?

Absolutely! The College Board mission is to connect students to college success and opportunity. You are encouraged to share this event to your students, colleagues or to anyone who you think might benefit from the Talk. While the program is in English, we expect the talk will center around the frequently asked questions raised by many Vietnamese students with some assisted means. I have also included a printable PDF with this email for your use.
